Sebastian Cole’s Bio

Posted on April 03, 2013

Sebastian Cole

Sebastian Cole’s debut novel, Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love, reflects over forty years of personal life experiences. Born and raised in New England, Sebastian joined his family’s business after graduating from Brown University in the 80s. A true romantic, his life is defined by following his heart and pursuing his dreams, which is why he has become a novelist. Sebastian writes from the heart, believing in true love, love at first sight, and finding that one person in life you’re meant to be with.

Sand Dollar is currently a finalist for the 2012 Book Of The Year Award in the Romance category at ForeWord Reviews magazine, and it was also a finalist in the ForeWord Firsts debut literary competition for first-time authors. With a rating of 4.6 stars on Amazon, his book has been getting rave reviews, many of which compare him to his favorite author, Nicholas Sparks. Whether or not he ever achieves that kind of success, touching the lives of others through his writing has been the single most gratifying thing he’s ever done in his life.

Growing List of People Quoting Sebastian Cole

Posted on September 19, 2012

I find it really flattering that more and more people are quoting me on their website pages. The funny part is that many of them have probably never heard of me or my book. They’re simply sharing what they’ve come across online that has a profound meaning to them. When I wrote the book, I had no idea that this would happen! Here’s what I’ve stumbled upon so far:

Find Me

Posted on August 20, 2012

“If someday you should ever think of me and miss me, know in your heart that I’d want you to find me once again. No matter how distant in time or space…
FIND ME.”  Sebastian Cole, Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love

The Lesson Learned

Posted on August 20, 2012

Because for me, the sand dollar represents life, and how fragile life really is. What was once so very precious to me, suddenly and without warning, disintegrated and vanished before my eyes. Just like the sand dollar, life holds no promises. Seemingly solid and secure in our grasp, the blessings we have in our lives today are easily shattered tomorrow. The lesson learned: never take your loved ones for granted. And if you’re ever lucky enough to find that one person in life who makes you love more than any other person could possibly make you love, you treat every day together as if it were your last. You cherish every moment.”

Sebastian Cole, Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love

All That Really Matters

Posted on August 20, 2012

“I guess what I’m really trying to tell you is… we loved each other’s souls, and as long as we had each other, we were happy. And in the end, that’s all that really matters.”Sebastian Cole, Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love

More Than Words

Posted on August 20, 2012

“More than words, her warm eyes speak volumes to my soul, and I know I’m loved.” Sebastian Cole, Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love

Sailing Away

“And on that day, you and I will simply sail away…” — Sebastian Cole, Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love

UPDATE: I approved the paperback version of Sand Dollar

Posted on April 25, 2012

After receiving another proof in the mail today, I gave the distributor the go-ahead to start selling the paperback version of Sand Dollar. It should be available for sale at Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com very soon. The price is $9.99. Stay tuned for further updates.

UPDATE: Sand Dollar Formatting is Done

Posted on April 12, 2012

I received the PDF files back from the formatter last night — yay! — and immediately uploaded them to the printer/distributor, Lightning Source.

The files are for the finished paperback version of Sand Dollar. In about a week, the printer will mail me a finished copy of the book for my review. If everything looks good, all I’ll have to do is hit the “Publish” button, and the paperback version of Sand Dollar will get published.

This is very exciting! 🙂

Welcome to Sebastian Cole’s Official Website

Posted on March 14, 2012

Well, here it is — my first blog post ever!

Please read my debut novel Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love. It’s an epic, heart-wrenching love story about “the one who got away.” Sand Dollar is best described as a romantic fantasy, kind of like The Notebook with a Sixth Sense twist. This thought-provoking and emotional read might even have you yelling at the main characters at times as they struggle to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. And not only is it filled with plenty of twists and turns, but the ending will knock your socks off!

The eBook can be purchased online for $2.99. And if you prefer the 6 x 9 paperback version with the beautiful, romantic cover, you can purchase that for just $9.99.

Feel free to contact me here to let me know what you think of Sand Dollar. Being a first-time author, nobody knows my name; so anything you could do to help spread the word would be greatly appreciated. If you enjoy reading my book, please tell all your friends. And if you really feel inspired, why not write an online review at Amazon? Every little bit helps when you’re just starting out. Thanks!

So, in conclusion: Buy my book, read my book, tell the world, and thanks!

Sebastian Cole
