★★★★★ I CHANGED MY MIND…
“Several times while reading this book as to what kind of rating it should have. In the beginning, I really liked it and the characters, but then Noah seemed quite neurotic and Robin seemed like a very wishy-washy kind of woman. But as the story progressed and certain things about Robin’s childhood come to light, then her behavior starts to make sense as well as the influence of an unscrupulous doctor. Mr. Cole wrote a fantastic first novel that makes you believe in a forever kind of love and the possibility of there really being a soulmate out there for those who want one. Definitely worth reading!!!” — J. D. Hale

“Noah and Robin meet and fall deeply in love, but many things happen that prevents a “happy ever after” life together. Robin has a secret, and Noah is ruled by parents who have their own ideas of how his future should be. This is a wonderful tale that will hold your interest from start to finish. I could not put it down until I finished it. It also has a surprising ending, which explains some of the unusual things that happen in the book. The author has written a great story.”

★★★★★ Sand Dollar
“To be able to understand true love and be able to write it; this Author has the prose and hook to draw everyone in as we all have a bit of romance in US. I for one will remember and recommend this book, starting with my husband.” — Lisa Foster

★★★★★ Sebastian Cole has arrived!
“Sebastian Cole has written a beautiful story of love, loss and eternal happiness. As a hopeless romantic I found myself immersed in Noah and Robin’s lives. I truly believe in love at first sight, so it was easy for me to get caught up in their journey. I laughed, I cried (a lot) and I hurt right along with them. Mr. Cole makes you feel the pain of loving someone so much and the agonizing loss of that love never knowing if you will ever find it again. I loved the weaving of their lives, two people from different sides of the tracks coming together as one despite all the obstacles. This novel is a testament to true love and it shows us that no matter who we are or where we come from love knows no boundaries. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it. Summer is coming, pick up a copy!”

★★★★★ Amazing love story
“Sebastian Cole did a wonderful job of capturing the joys and heartaches of being in love in this novel. He delves into the emotions of each character so very well…I read it one day, because the story just flowed and I could not wait to see what would happen next! I think every person can relate in some way to this book; the role family dynamics play out in our lives, versus our own belief systems… just a terrific love story! I have read every Nicholas Sparks book and I can tell you, this is right up there with them! I look forward to reading his future books!” — Lori

★★★★★ An Absolute Must Read! AMAZING LOVE STORY!
“This book is absolutely amazing. The best love story I think I have read in a long time. You will cry like a baby, I know that I did. This story is so incredibly well written, you will find yourself immersed in this one. The characters are so true to life, I felt like I was right beside them. This is truly a love story you will remember for years to come. I can’t wait to read more from Sebastian in the future. We all have a soul mate, I was lucky enough to find mine after many years of us going back and forth. To the real life Noah, never give up on your one true love. Please, please, please people , read this book, it is an extraordinary story of undying love. This is a read you can not miss out on. Get it, read it, love it! I know I did! AMAZING! “I finally finished reading, “Sand Dollar”, and I really enjoyed it! There were so many unexpected turns in this story, and as I approached the end of the book, I found myself planning to read the book again from the beginning. There are revelations in in the later chapters which give a deeper meaning and understanding to it’s earlier chapters.
Although I’m familiar with many different psychological disorders, I had very little knowledge or understanding of ***** before reading this book. This book will be a huge encouragement, not only for those who suffer with the disorder, but also for friends and family members.
“I Will Be Here,” by Steven Curtis Chapman, is one of the most beautiful love songs ever written, and I’m so glad it was used as the theme song of this story. I hope there will some day be a movie, and that this will be the theme song! Sadly, I have only heard this song at Christian weddings, and I find it unfortunate that it has not become very well known in secular realms. I hope that this book will bring it to a new level of popularity. This concept of steadfast love, in the face of hardship, is a relatively unknown mindset in our self-centered world. This book is a great lesson in how to be steadfast in the face of adversity.
I especially loved the author’s notes at the end of the book. It made the book feel much more real to me. I found it difficult at first to related to such a perfect fairytale ending, but it was very easy for me to relate to Noah’s hopes and dreams for a fairytale ending. I also loved how the author made God such a constant and attainable companion to Noah. God was faithful, despite Noah’s lack of faith, and this is a beautiful revelation of how God desires relationship with each of us.
Although most readers will probably not agree with me, I absolutely LOVE Noah’s mom, Miriam!! She’s got tons of character flaws, but that’s what made her so genuine. Great character development there. I think, of all the characters in the book, she was the most real to me. I could really picture her, hear her voice.
I also loved how the author put his acknowledgements at the end of the book. So many writers put them at the beginning, but it’s usually only after reading a book that we are interested in hearing more about who it was that made such significant contributions to the author’s life and project. The artwork on both the front cover and the back is absolutely gorgeous, and it was THE selling feature that first hooked me. From there, the writing was all that the cover promised it to be. I look forward to reading more from Sebastian Cole.” — Marjorie Savoie
