Such a wonderful book Sebastian! I read it in one evening. The sand dollar has always been one of my favorite shells, so when I saw the title of this book aside from loving romantic novels, I had to read it! My family and I are from Connecticut but always spend our summers at the beaches in Rhode Island and how unbelieveable, two summers ago, my husband and I found not one but two small sand dollars in Westerly, RI. Not sure how they got there, but there they were on the sand! I think it is wonderful you took this leap of faith and wrote this wonderful story. Please continue on since you have a gift. This story has great meaning to all of us in this life. Thank you!

    • Thanks, Lori,

Wow, reading it in one day was quite a feat! And I didn’t know that you could find sand dollars in this area. Thank you so much for reaching out and saying such nice things. You made my day!!

I am not much into reading romantic novels but when I started reading Sand Dollar it only took me two days. What a wonderful story about love. I will recommend Sand Dollar to anyone that loves to read. I am and will always be a Sebastion Cole fan. Can’t wait to read your next love story.

    • Hi, Marilynn,

Thanks for stopping by my booth at The Big E and for buying my book. I’m really glad that you enjoyed it! It will probably be a year before I publish my next book. Right now I’m so busy trying to market the first one, that there’s no time to write the second one. Hopefully, SAND DOLLAR will take off soon. I’d love to see it made into a movie…

Entertaining love story, filled with passion and soul! Sebastian Cole is a true romantic, at heart. A recommended read.

  13. I just read your other comment about asking if I’d consider doing a review! I already wrote and asked if you would mind if I did it. I read my emails bottom up, so I may have sounded wacky. I don’t want you to send me a copy of your book. I will purchase a copy just to help a fellow writer! Your website is beautiful! I am a teacher, and will be out for the summer in 1 1/2 weeks.I will read your book that first week as a kick-off to a great summer of writing and reading! I will also have uninterrupted time to focus and absorb what I am reading. I was impressed with the review I read on your site. Also, the topic just hits too close to home. I MUST read it! Thanks! I’ll be kind!!:)

    • That’s so funny that while I was writing you, you were writing me! Maybe there’s something to that… That’s very sweet of you to buy the book instead of accepting one. I hope you have a great summer!

  14. Thank you for checking out my post. I have now enjoyed visiting your sight, and look forward to reading your debut novel, Sand Dollar. You won’t believe this, but my father is 80 years old and just found out last week he has months to live. He is involved in a love triangle, and I am anxious to see what happens in your book. I want to see if fact is stranger than fiction!:) I live on the Gulf Coast, so sand dollars and shells of all kinds are a big deal around here! Take care! After I read it, I will do a review on it for my Sunday Review on my website (if that is okay).

    May 17, 2012 at 11:32 pm

    • I’m sorry to hear about your father, Kate. Thanks for being so enthusiastic about my book, though. I hope you enjoy it! And a review would be great, thanks. Living on the East Coast, there are plenty of shells here, but no sand dollars. As you can see, I’m kind of fond of them.
